Znači ovaj čovek ne miruje ! Juče je preko Ipecac mejling liste puštena vest da se jedan novi bend pod imenom Crudo sprema za koncert 22. Maja u Great American Music Hall-u u San Francisku. U pitanju su Mike Patton i Danthe Automator koji izgleda da i posle Peeping Tom i Lovage ponovo imaju zajedničke ideje. A to zvuči ovako nekako:
Originalna vest: “Wanna hear a secret? The new band, Crudo, is playing a top secret warm up show in San Francisco at Great American Music Hall on Thursday May 22nd and tix just went on sale. This will be the first ever appearance of the Mike Patton/Dan the Automator project. It is the warm up show for their appearance at the Sasquatch festival at the Gorge in Washington on May 24th. No word on where or when the record will be released but should be fun live. Be the first to witness Crudo!!!!!”
Pattonov menadžer je opisao to kao “Avant-garde hip-hop is a great description — more hip-hop than Peeping Tom, but quirky and electronic as well.” U međuvremenu su se odjednom pojavio Crudo MySpace profil sa spromo slikama Pattona i Automatora (one gore ispod naslova).
Plakat je već tu. Han Solo me je naročito dirnuo, u prvi mah nisam kapirao šta će on tu, ali sam ubrzo saznao da se bina na kojoj sviraju zove Wookie Stage 🙂 Pa lepo… čekamo 22. Maj zar ne ?!
